She Said Yes: Bob & Kelly

A week ago I returned home from shooting my first wedding of 2012!  Some of you might remember Kelly & Bob from their Duluth engagement session last summer.  I love this couple to pieces!  Despite some unexpected changes to their wedding plans (no snow in Fargo…in January…GASP!),  we had a wonderful time capturing their big day.  While I would’ve loved to have snapped a few pics of Bob riding up to the church on his snowmobile, I must say it was rather nice not being buried up to our knees in snow for outdoor photos.  I mean let’s face it…38 degrees in January is downright balmy by North Dakota standards!  And I couldn’t have asked for better surroundings at Moorhead’s Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd…bright walls and a prairie view that went on forever made the pre-ceremony photos easy and accessible!  After the ceremony, we loaded onto the Fargo Trolley and made a pit stop at the Depot to capture a few photos of the wedding party at dusk!  However, my favorite part of the day was seeing all of the wonderful and creative touches that Kelly had prepared for their reception at the Fargo Holiday Inn.  Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Leiseth!  Wishing you much happiness in the years ahead.
